Pictures of Life Around Seattle

We don't have too many pictures of Seattle life yet, but we are working on it. Click on a picture to see a larger image.

Markie and I took a trip to a place called Snoqualamie Falls. It's only about 40 minutes away, and gets snowy in the winter.

That little water on the right is a tunnel with a wooden walkway in it. We think it's where all the salmon walk up it.

I was dressed pretty warmly before our hike down.

The falls get torrential after in rains, but we haven't seen that yet.

This was a pretty path that we tried to get all artistic taking pictures of. It takes us down nearer the falls.

Ain't in purty?

This is pretty cool, you have to admit.

We really like this picture, too. On the same path.

And our hero, on the path.

We passed this pipes on the way, and think they may divert water to be used for power. They ended in a cement building.

We accosted some German tourists to take this of us at the bottom.

Me, having shed many of my outer layers during the hike.

I had to take this picture of the falls pouring into Mark's brain.

This was a place along the way, demonstrating how no matter how rural you are in the Pacific NW, you can always find teriyaki.

This is us eating later, somewhere in Seattle near the Space Needle. I am blurry because I'm so tired.

This is me in Seattle about 7 1/2 months pregnant.

Me again the same day. We were going to the ACT Theater.

Me and my bad-ass pregnant belly.
